Dendronus sea slug beanie

These sea slugs started as patches and now come in beanie format but still glow in the dark!

The base beanie is made of 100% acrylic and can be machine washed in cold water and dried on low heat. The embroidered design is made with a glow in the dark polyester embroidery thread.

While the design may appear crinkled in photos, this is intentional as the beanie was stretched in the embroidery hoop so that it would lay nicely when worn. The beanies pictured are samples, your beanie may vary slightly as I make them all myself, but I will do my best to match them.

I created this design based on public domain drawings by Ernst Haeckel, which I simplified by hand into line-art that I then digitized into embroidery.
