About My Policies

I am a disabled & chronically ill artist, and I run this business entirely on my own. My policies may be updated to protect my energy and access needs as the business grows. I hope to eventually be able to offer additional flexibility and options to my customers, but I am making an effort to scale things sustainably and honoring my bodymind and needs in the process. Thank you for your understanding.

Returns and Exchanges

At this time, I do not accept returns or exchanges.

Many of the pieces that I sell are custom, and because these are machine-assisted but hand-made objects, they may have slight variations from the online listing photos. This may also be due to differences between computer displays.

If you have any questions or concerns about a pre-made piece, please feel free to reach out before placing an order.

For custom work or larger orders, I am happy to do a consultation virtually with you where we can compare potential fabrics and thread colors, and then I can send you a sample packet of your top options so you can make your final decision in person before I make your piece.

Expected Timeline

Most items are made to your specifications, after you place an order. Made-to-Order items will be sent out in 2-4 weeks. Sometimes, I have items meeting your specifications already made, in which case orders will ship much faster.

Timelines for commissions vary, but we will discuss an estimate timeline and ensure any time constraint you have are achievable before I commit to a piece. Reach out through the contact form to start the commission process.

These timelines do not include the time it takes to ship your package, please also account for shipping times described below.

Shipping

Most items are sent via USPS First Class mail, unless otherwise requested and paid for. USPS estimates delivery in 1-5 days, however I cannot control how long the package takes to arrive after I have given them to the post office.

Most items are small enough to be sent in standard envelopes, which allows me to offer inexpensive shipping, however this means tracking is not included. By choosing a non-tracked option, you are accepting that after I notify you I have shipped your package, I will have no way of knowing where it is in transit. If you would like tracked shipping, please select a tracked option during check-out. Tracked items will be sent as a USPS First Class large envelope or package and the tracking number will be provided when they are sent out.

If you have a specific timeline, feel free to reach out via the contact form before ordering. I will let you know if I can accommodate your timeline, and we will agree upon a paid shipping option that minimizes the risk of USPS delivering your item late.

Payment

Payment is processed through PayPal.

If your item is shipping to Washington State, I must collect sales tax, which is determined by the recipient's address.

Caring For Your Embroidery

Some items will have special care instructions, which will generally be noted in their listing. In the case of these items, I will also include a physical or digital note explaining how that items care is different than other items.

Most items are machine washable on the delicate or hand wash setting, with cold water. Items should be air dried or machine dried on low or no heat.

To attach items with iron-on backings to garments:

Remove any backing paper & position patch on desired garment. Cover with thin cloth or iron from inside of garment. Apply iron fro 15-20 seconds, or until bonded, at 320 – 390 °F (160-200°C). Allow adhesive to cool and set before wearing.
