Bull Kelp Beanie
Bull kelp is an incredibly important part of my local ecosystem, providing food, habitat, and natural beauty.
I designed this interlacing bull kelp pattern based on herbarium presses I made in 2018 while studying marine botany.
The base beanie is made of 100% acrylic and can be machine washed in cold water and dried on low heat. The embroidered design is made with Floriani Polyester embroidery thread.
Laid flat with the rim folded up as in the photo, the beanie is ~8" wide and ~8" tall. The bull kelp design is ~ 3.25" wide and 2.75" tall.
While the design may appear crinkled in photos, this is intentional as the beanie was stretched in the embroidery hoop so that it would lay nicely when worn. The beanies pictured are samples, your beanie may vary slightly as I make them all myself, but I will do my best to match them.
This design is a NonCompliant Cyborg original by JA Fields
